Blasters Save the World Guide
Blasters Save the World covers one of the enemies that can turn an ordinary mission into a mess if it is ignored. Blasters is much more important than a normal Husk because its behaviour can pressure players, structures or the objective in ways that basic enemies cannot.
Learning Blasters Save the World is mainly about recognising the enemy quickly and reacting before it gets value. You do not need a perfect endgame loadout, but you do need to know what the threat is trying to do and which part of your defence it can punish.
How to recognise Blasters

Blasters are ranged Mist Monsters that stand out through their size and repeated projectile attacks. Unlike normal melee Husks, they can pressure players without walking all the way into a trap tunnel or reaching the objective walls.
Where Blasters appears
You can encounter Blasters during normal mission waves, Encampments, Ventures, Storm Shield content and many other combat activities. They become more annoying when terrain gives them a clean line of sight from outside the area your traps are covering.
Why Blasters is dangerous
A Blaster can force players away from a firing position, interrupt repairs and chip at the team while other enemies attack the fort. Leaving one on a ridge or open lane can create constant ranged pressure that makes every other part of the defence harder.
How to deal with Blasters
Use cover, break line of sight when needed and return accurate ranged fire. Strong single-target weapons can remove the threat before it gets several attack cycles, and repositioning is often safer than standing still while trying to out-damage it.
- Mark or call out the threat when playing with other people.
- Fight it before it reaches the centre of the objective defence.
- Keep line of sight when possible so it cannot attack structures for free.
- Use burst damage and crowd control when the enemy is creating immediate pressure.
When to prioritise Blasters
Prioritise Blasters when their line of sight covers the objective or the players maintaining it. If the fort is already being breached by melee enemies, stop the immediate breach first, then remove the ranged threat before it resumes pressure.
As missions scale into Canny Valley, Twine Peaks and Ventures, Blasters Save the World becomes increasingly important because a single dangerous enemy can open a defence for the rest of the wave. Strong players still clear normal Husks, but they constantly scan for Mist Monsters and other special threats that need a faster response.
Build with dangerous enemies in mind
A good fort gives you time to react. Trap tunnels, layered walls, clear firing positions and sensible pathing make Blasters Save the World easier because the enemy has fewer opportunities to reach the objective untouched. Do not create a maze that blocks your own shots or makes it difficult to reach the side being attacked.

If you are learning Blasters Save the World, spend the first minute reading the terrain before committing large amounts of building material.
The biggest improvement in Blasters Save the World usually comes from preparing for the objective instead of reacting after the Husks are already on top of it.
Public groups can make Blasters Save the World faster, but a clear build and sensible target priority still matter even with four players.
As Power Level rises, Blasters Save the World rewards players who combine weapon damage, abilities and traps rather than relying on only one part of a loadout.
Blasters Save the World also becomes easier when you arrive with enough ammunition, building materials and crafting ingredients to finish the mission without a farming detour. Check your backpack before launch, keep one reliable weapon for normal Husks and save your strongest burst damage for Mist Monsters or other threats that can disrupt the objective. That small amount of preparation is especially useful in Canny Valley, Twine Peaks and Ventures, where a weak setup can turn a straightforward objective into a much longer fight.
