If the rocket quest is present but Twine still does not open, make sure the Launch the Rocket mission actually ended in a successful completion. Leaving early, failing a defense stage or running a normal rocket mission that is not counting for the active progression objective can leave the region unavailable.

How to complete the Canny Launch the Rocket step

The rocket mission used to unlock Twine Peaks requires 9 BluGlo total. Deposit 3 BluGlo, defend the rocket, then repeat for the next two stages. The defense stages last 2 minutes, 3 minutes and 4 minutes, so the final stage is where weak walls and poor trap durability are most likely to become a problem.

• Find the rocket before spending BluGlo on pylons.
• Build a full shell around the launchpad and roof it before the first deposit.
• Create one or two controlled approach lanes instead of surrounding every wall with random traps.
• Keep replacement traps and materials ready for the later defense stages.
• Prioritise Smashers and Flingers once the normal Husks are being handled by traps.

What to prepare before entering Twine Peaks

Being able to unlock Twine Peaks is not the same as being comfortable there. Twine expects much stronger Survivor Squads, reliable 4-Star gear, sensible elemental coverage and trap tunnels that can handle Mist Monsters without constant babysitting. If Canny SSD6 or the rocket defense only barely succeeded, improve the account before rushing into high-level Twine missions.

• Raise Power Level through Survivor Squad upgrades and personality matching.
• Have at least one reliable ranged weapon and one high-burst option for Mist Monsters.
• Keep upgraded floor, wall and ceiling traps rather than relying on one damage trap.
• Farm enough mechanical parts, mineral powder, planks, batteries and quartz to build without stopping mid-mission.
• Learn Fire, Water and Nature counters because element mistakes hurt much more in Twine.

Once you unlock Twine Peaks, the first real milestone is Twine Peaks Storm Shield Defense 1.
