Survivor XP in Save the World: What Replaced It?
Survivor XP in Save the World was removed as a separate currency when Epic combined Survivor XP and Hero XP into People XP in v40.00. If you are returning to the game and cannot find the old balance, the resource has not moved to a hidden Survivor menu. The levelling system itself changed.
Survivors are still levelled and evolved as normal, and they remain central to Power Level progression. The difference is that ordinary levels now spend the same People XP used by Heroes and Defenders, so your roster shares one main XP pool.

People XP replaced Survivor XP in Save the World for normal Survivor levelling. Open Command, choose Survivors and Manage, select a Survivor, then use Upgrade/Inspect and Level Up. The game shows the People XP cost before you confirm the upgrade.
An older guide may still tell you to farm Survivor XP in Save the World before improving your squads. The progression advice can still make sense, but the current reward to look for is People XP rather than the retired Survivor-only currency.
How to level Survivors after the Survivor XP in Save the World change
The end of Survivor XP in Save the World did not make Survivor levels automatic. You can spend People XP manually, or leave Auto Level enabled so the game applies XP to Survivors that are currently assigned to your squads.
Because Survivor XP in Save the World now means an older system, be careful with screenshots showing pre-v40.00 reward icons or totals. Current mission and quest rewards use the newer naming, and the shared balance can also be spent on Heroes and Defenders.
