Fortnite Save the World Defenders Explained
Defenders are AI-controlled allies that can be deployed during many Fortnite Save the World missions to provide additional firepower when you’re playing alone or with a smaller team. Once placed on a Defender Pad, they automatically attack nearby Husks using the weapon you have equipped them with, making them a valuable part of any loadout.
There are five different Defender classes in Save the World, with each specialising in a different weapon type.
